Karwa Chauth 2020 will be celebrated across the country on November 4, 2020 (Wednesday).
Women start preparing for the festival well in advance and even apply mehendi on their hands. On the day of Karwa Chauth, they dress up for the puja and narrate the katha (story).
They even decorate their karwas and puja thali and offer Arghya to the moon, after sighting it with a sieve and see their husband through the sieve.
At last, they break their fast with a glass of water.
According to Drik Panchang, this year, Karwa Chauth puja muhurat is from 05:34 pm to 06:52 pm. Moonrise is expected to take place at 8:12 pm
