Patiala DC visited Isolation ward of Rajindra Hospital

Deputy Commissioner Mr. Kumar Amit visited the MCH of Government Rajindra Hospital, Patiala this evening. By visiting the first floor of the COVID Isolation Ward located in the building and reviewing the current situation of the COVID Ward, he said that there was no need for the people of Patiala to get panic as the doctors were in high spirits and Rajindra Hospital had better arrangements for the treatment of COVID patients.

Deputy Commissioner said that in case of increase in the number of patients, the newly constructed super specialty block at Rajindra Hospital could also be used as COVID isolation for which this building is fully ready.
Accompanying by the COVID Care Incharge of the Hospital, Chief Administrator of PDA and Additional Secretary for Medical Education and Research Mrs. Surbhi Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Dr. Preeti Yadav and and Assistant Commissioner Dr.Nirmal Ouseppachan, DC Kumar Amit discussed all the arrangements with Principal Medical College Dr. Harjinder Singh, Medical Superintendent Dr. Ramesh Kundal, Deputy Medical Superintendent Vinod Dangwal and other doctors who were present there.
Mr. Kumar Amit said that under the directions of the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh following the guidelines incorporated under Mission Fateh, No COVID-19 patient would have to face any difficulty and the patients would be treated in a very efficient manner. He said that from the call center set up today at Rajindra Hospital to provide information to the families of the patients, so far 125 families of the patients have been contacted to inform well being of their patients. The Deputy Commissioner also issued necessary instructions to the nursing staff and the doctors of the hospital for maintaining proper care of patients besides facilitating them with food and other necessities.
