ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਹੋਈ। ਸਾਡੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦਾ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਨਾਲ ਲੰਬਾ ਸਬੰਧ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਖੇਡ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦਾ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਧਰੁਵ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਸਟੇਡੀਅਮ ਬਣਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦੀ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਦੇ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਉਸੇ ਜੋਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਾਂਗੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਕਰਦੀ ਹਾਂ।

Honoured to be unanimously elected as the President of Patiala Cricket Association. Our family has a long association with Patiala Cricket, as Mahraja Rajinder Singh got the Patiala’s famous Dhruve Pandove Cricket Stadium built for the upliftment of the sport in Patiala and Punjab. I assure you all that I will work with same zeal and enthusiasm for the continuous development of Patiala cricket, as I serve the people of our constituency.
