Job Fair & Self Employment Camp, December 2021at World University

The University organised a Job Fair and Self Employment Camp on December 9th, 2021 in collaboration with The District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise, Fatehgarh Sahib (Punjab Govt.). The large number of students from Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Fatehgarh Sahib, Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjabi University, Patiala, Dolphin College, Chunni, and from other various local colleges and universities have attended the Job Fair.
Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh, Vice-Chancellor, congratulated the department and providing opportunity to students for placement by organising the event. Prof. (Dr.) C. Rajesh, Prof. Incharge, Placements conducted the event and hosted all the companies and students. Ms. Rupinder Kaur, DEGTO, Fatehgarh Sahib and Mr. Jaswinder Singh, District Placement Officer were also present on this occasion.
Companies like BYJU’s, ICICI Bank, Privy Solutions, Competent Synergy, Axis Bank, Dr. I.T., L N Webworks, etc. participated in the event and recruited the students of Post-Graduate & Under-Graduate courses in all programs for high end jobs which package over 2.5 lakhs.
Footfall of more than 200 students from local Universities and Colleges attended the fair that saw over 50+ recruitments via ON CAMPUS as well as in ONLINE MODE.
