ਪੀ.ਏ.ਪੀ. ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸੌਗਾਤ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਦੀ ਭੱਤਾ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇਕੇ ਵੰਡੀ ਮੰਗ ਮੰਨ ਲਈ ਗਈ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵਧੀਆ ਗੁਣਵੱਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਰਦੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਲਈ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬੱਸ ਦੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਬਜਟ ਤੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੈਲਫੇਅਰ ਫੰਡ 10 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵਧਾ ਕੇ 15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
As a New Year bonanza for the Punjab Police personnel, announced a slew of incentives for the cops. In a function held at the PAP complex, Jalandhar, accepted the major demand of cops by allowing the uniform allowance. The superior quality uniform will now be provided to cops by the Government. Apart from this, announced free bus travel for any on duty cop in Government buses.
On this occasion, also announced to enhance the Police welfare fund from Rs. 10 crore to Rs. 15 crore from next budget.
