Election Commission appoints 12 Observers to monitor the Election Process in Patiala.

-Any Voter, Candidate or Party can contact the Observers regarding Elections- Sandeep Hans

-8 General Observers, 1 Police Observer and 3 Expenditure Observers will supervise 8 Assembly constituencies.

Patiala, 4 February:

The Election Commission has appointed 12 Observers to keep a watchful eye on the activities of candidates contesting elections in the district. The Deputy Commissioner Patiala released contact details of the observers to facilitate the voters, candidates and political parties who might wish to share suggestions or make complaints regarding elections, police security, or expenditure issues.

IAS officer Sh. Barun Kumar Sahu will monitor Samana constituency and his contact number is 88474-68335, IAS officer Sh. Sanjay Kumar is Election observer for Patiala urban constituency and his phone number is 78883-43487, IAS officer Sh. Sanjay Kumar has been appointed General observer for Sanaur and his number is 83609-18967. In Rajpura constituency, IAS officer Sh. Vijay Kumar Yadav will observe election process and his number is 62394-04847, IAS officer Sh. Vishram Meena is election observer for Patiala rural and his number is 88475-14897, Sh. Shyamsundar Liladhar Patil IAS is observer for Sunam whose number is 78883-07382, for Shutrana Observer Sh. Radhey Shyam IAS will keep a keen eye and his number is 79730-09653, likewise for Nabha IAS officer Dr. Devisharan Upadhyay has been appointed General Observer and his number is 88474-92320.

Correspondingly, IPS officer Sh. Sachin Mittal has been appointed Police observer and he can be contacted on 79730-71541. Smt. Princy Singla IRS has been appointed Expenditure observer for Rajpura, Ghanaur and Sanaur constituencies and her number is 83605-72849.  In addition, IRS officer Sh. Gauri Shankar is expenditure observer for Samana and Shutrana and he can be contacted on 62808-61882. For Nabha, Patiala- Rural and Urban constituencies, IRS Sh. Avnish Kumar Yadav has been appointed election expenditure observer and his number is 88472-65669.

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ-ਕਮ-ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਹੰਸ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਅੰਦਰ 8 ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ 8 ਜਨਰਲ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ, 1 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ ਅਤੇ 3 ਖ਼ਰਚਾ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈਆਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੋਣ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪੈਨੀ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਰੱਖ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ‘ਚ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸਚਿਨ ਮਿੱਤਲ ਦਾ ਫੋਨ ਨੰਬਰ 79730-71541 ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਰਾਜਪੁਰਾ, ਘਨੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਨੌਰ ਹਲਕੇ ਲਈ ਖ਼ਰਚਾ ਆਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀ ਸਿੰਗਲਾ ਦਾ ਫੋਨ ਨੰਬਰ 83605-72849 ਹੈ।

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਆਬਜਰਵਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਨੰਬਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੋਟਰ, ਸਿਆਸੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਜਾਂ ਚੋਣ ਲੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ, ਚੋਣਾਂ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ, ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਰਚਿਆਂ ਬਾਬਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਝਾਓ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕਰਨ ਸਮੇਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦਾ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਅਬਜ਼ਰਵਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੋਨ ਨੰਬਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
