Patiala MC starts cleaning of choked sewerage lines
Nearly 90% sewerage lines are blocked and it seems that they haven’t been cleaned since decades, says municipal commissioner Khaira
The new Patiala municipal corporation (MC) has finally started the desilting process of the choked sewer lines across the Royal City.The municipal corporation has even hired private contractor and will pay them ₹2 crore to desilt around 20-25km stretch of sewer lines.
