Punjab State Open University Organises Chabeel on the eve of Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji

Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala organised Chabeel on the eve of martyrdom day of Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji, the fifth Guru of Sikhs and father of martyrs. The event was started with Ardas for the welfare of the humanity.
On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University told about Sri Guru Arjan Dev Sahib Ji that the martyrdom of Guru Sahib Ji is inspiring the whole world as he gave his life for the religion and humanity. Guru Ji’s life exemplifies qualities like service, meditation, humility, peace, renunciation and wisdom. Therefore, every work done by him for the Sikh Panth is unique and incredible, whether it is the editing of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the construction of Gurudwaras’, or his great martyrdom. Dr. Dharam Singh Sandhu, Registrar G.S. Batra, Dean Academic Affairs, Shri. K.C. Gupta, Secretary and all the staff members were also present.
