Patiala Architects organised seminar on architecture education in India and abroad.

Patiala, 13 June

Indian Institute of Architects, Patiala Sub center organised a seminar on architecture education in India and abroad. More than 60 Architects from patiala and other cities of punjab attended this event.

The keynote speaker was Ar. Prabhjot kaur, retired principal, PTU campus mohali. She spoke about the shortcomings in present Indian technical Education system , Architecture education in particular.

Ar. R.S.Sandhu, Chairman IIA patiala presented the Chairman Adress and said these type of informative seminars are the need of the haur. Ar. L.R Gupta put some light on how we can work collectively for the betterment if society. Ar indu Arora spoke about the activities of IIA in past Ar. Pritpal Ahluwalia motivated young architects to participate in these events more regularly. Ar. Rakesh Atora presented the vote of thanks.

The seminar was supported by prince pipes. Mr. Nihar Chheda Vice President Strategy at PRINCE PIPES AND FITTINGS LTD, promised that this type of seminars will be organised by prince pipes regularly
