Punjab:Recruitment of 1158 Assistant Professors quashed
The Punjab and Haryana High Court has given a big blow to the Punjab government. The High Court has canceled the recruitment process of 1158 Assistant Professors of Government Colleges. The government had decided to give five more marks for these posts only for part time, guest faculty and contract work in government colleges, which was rejected by the High Court. Justice Mahavir Singh Sindhu has given these orders while giving his verdict on several petitions filed against this appointment process.
