Special checking using speed radar by Patiala Police
In order to keep a check on over speeding and to reduce accidents Patiala police has started surprise checking by using speed radar at undisclosed locations on the main highways. In the inaugural drive today the speed radar was placed on the Patiala Rajpura highway. Total 7 challan has been done till 3:30 p.m. and the drive is still going on. This will be continued at various locations to retain the element of surprise. Today this drive is being personally supervised by the SSP Patiala and DSP traffic is himself present at the Naka.
