TarnTaran Blast: Bikramjit Singh extradited from Austria
On September 4, 2019, a powerful explosion took place at vacant plot on outskirts of Pandori Gola village in Tarn Taran, #Punjab in which two people were killed & another was grievously injured. They were digging a pit to retrieve concealed explosivesThe case was registered by @NIA_India on September 23, 2019.
Non-bailable warrant issued against the accused Bikramjit Singh by NIA special court, Mohali; with a subsequent Red notice issued by Interpol, Singh was detained at Linz, Austria on March 22, 2021.
Investigations had revealed that accused Bikramjit Singh not only instigated the co-accused and others to commit terrorist acts but also conducted training for fabricating Improvised Explosive Devices and using them.
