Former Hockey Captain Olympian Ajit Pal Singh bereaved, Wife Passes away
The Captain of the 1975 Hockey World Cup winning Indian team and Padma Shri Olympian Ajit Pal Singh on Saturday was bereaved when his wife and international basketball player Kiran Ajit Pal Singh passed away.
Kiran Ajit Pal Singh, who was 69 years old, passed away today in New Delhi after a brief illness. She was survived by her husband and two sons. The last rites of Kiran Ajit Pal Singh will be performed in New Delhi tomorrow.

She was born, brought up and educated in New Delhi. Ajit Pal Singh hails from Sansarpur, a village known as the mecca of Hockey. The couple was living in New Delhi with family for a long time.
