Pragyan encounters crater during moon walk, captures images
Two images taken by Pragyan’s navigation camera are the first to be released by ISRO after the rover ramped down from Vikram lander onto the lunar surface on August 23
ISRO said the rover encountered a 4-metre diameter crater while traversing on the lunar surface on August 27 and to avoid it, it retraced its path and is now headed on a new path.
While one of the two images shared by ISRO on Monday shows the crater, the second shows the path retraced by the rover.
