The state government of Chhattisgarh has ordered suspension of more than one and a half thousand employees simultaneously on Saturday. After this, Durg CMHO has also issued suspension order of 205 health workers of the district. These are the employees who have stopped work for more than 10 days and are on strike.

The Bhupesh Baghel government has taken a big step to teach a lesson to all the striking health workers of the state. All the suspended health workers were on strike under the banner of 10 different organizations including the State Health Employees Union. More than 40,000 health workers of the state participated in the strike alleging breach of promise. During the strike, all of them boycotted the services in the hospital.

These decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting

To find a solution to this common issue, a proposal to suspend the striking employees with immediate effect was approved in the Bhupesh Baghel cabinet meeting on Saturday. On an order of the government, more than 1500 striking health workers have been suspended from across the state. Of these, maximum 568 employees are included in North Bastar Kanker district, 296 employees from Jagdalpur and 205 employees from Durg district have also been ordered to be suspended. 265 Class III employees of the Health Department have also been suspended from Baloda Bazar.

According to government sources, the government has taken this action under the Chhattisgarh Civil Service Regulation Act 1965. It has been clarified in the order that the officers and employees working in the Health Department are on continuous strike without authorization and due to this not only the civil services but also the government work is being affected. It is very important to take such a tough decision keeping in mind the interests of the public.

On the other hand, after the meeting of Bhupesh cabinet was over, Minister Mohammad Akbar shared the information about the decisions taken in it through the media. He informed that taking a major decision regarding the waiting list of Pradhan Mantri Awas Gramin Yojana, a provision of 100 crores has been made to give benefits to the people outside the survey list. The compulsion of stipend was abolished. According to the amendment in 2008 in the Civil Services Examination, there will be 100 interviews. An order has been issued to appoint an officer for child protection. Apart from this, the manufacturer company will be the fixed vehicle price and tax only. Dealer will not be accepted.
