Body of 1 missing brother found in fields along Beas
Jashanbir Singh Dhillon had jumped into the Beas followed by his brother Manavjit Singh on August 17 evening after the latter’s humiliation at a Jalandhar police station.
FIR registered against three cops in this case. Then SHO Navdeep Singh and two police personnel have been booked for abetment to suicide and criminal intimidation.
Jashanbir’s body was recovered on Saturday and an FIR has been registered against SHO of police station 1 Navdeep Singh, lady constable Jagjit Kaur and ASI Balwir Kumar at Talwandi Chaudhrian police station in Kapurthala for abetment to suicide. The trio have been booked under Section 306, 506 and 34 of the IPC.
