Punjab Vigilance has filed a case against the former Finance Minister Manpreet Badal

Punjab Vigilance has filed a case against the former Finance Minister and BJP leader Manpreet Badal, along with five others, in a land allotment case.

Two individuals have been arrested, and raids are currently underway to apprehend the remaining suspects, as stated by the VB. The case has been registered under IPC sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 120-B, and 13(1) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, in addition to the Information Technology Act.

 

The other accused in this case include Bikramjit Shergill, the former MC commissioner and Bathinda Development Authority chief administrator, as well as Rajiv Kumar, Amandeep Singh, Vikas Arora, and Pankaj, who was formerly a BDA superintendent. While Rajiv and Amandeep have already been arrested, operations are ongoing to apprehend Vikas and Pankaj.
