Gujarat: 13-year-old girl dies of suspected heart attack in classroom
A 13-year-old schoolgirl collapsed in the class and died of suspected heart attack in the city, further deepening the mystery shrouding the sudden deaths of young people across the state over the last few months
The girl, Riddhi Mewada, was one of the twin sisters and both were studying in class 8 at Gitanjali School located in Godadara area.
Riddhi was sitting on the first bench in the middle row. While attending the last lecture at around 11:30am, she suddenly collapsed and fell down from the bench. The school staff called 108 emergency ambulance, but as she was not responding, they rushed her to a nearby private hospital in the car of one of the parents. The doctors there declared her dead on admission
