Jalandhar: 3 missing sisters found dead in trunk at home,parents arrested
A husband-wife couple allegedly poisoned their three minor daughters to death, supposedly due to poverty, in Punjab’s Jalandhar district Sunday. The police arrested the duo after discovering the girls’ bodies hidden in a trunk from their house in the Kanpur village Monday morning.
The father himself killed his three daughters Amrita Kumari (9 years old), Sakshi (7 years old), and Kanchan (4 years old), by mixing pesticides in their milk. He claimed that he was not in a condition to take care of them and provide for their upbringing. Both the husband and wife planned this murder. They were migrant laborers living on rent in Maqsudan village of Jalandhar, as informed by SSP Rural Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar.
