Bihar:Police station set on fire after man dies during liquor raid
Tensions escalated in Gehra village in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district after locals set on fire two police vehicles and several seized bikes parked at the police station following the death of a youth during a police raid.
The incident took place after the police acted on a tip-off related to the alleged possession of liquor, which is banned in Bihar.
During the raid, a young man attempted to flee, resulting in drowning and subsequent death.
