Karwa Chauth 2020 will be celebrated across the country on November 1, 2023 (Wednesday).

Women start preparing for the festival well in advance and even apply mehendi on their hands. On the day of Karwa Chauth, they dress up for the puja and narrate the katha (story).

They even decorate their karwas and puja thali and offer Arghya to the moon, after sighting it with a sieve and see their husband through the sieve.
