Goa Resort Owner Killed After Man Drives SUV Into Reception Area
A 57-year-old resort owner was killed and two staffers injured after an SUV rammed into the resort’s premises in North Goa’s Vagator on Saturday night, police said.
Police have arrested the accused SUV driver and booked him under sections of culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
Witness at the accident spot said that Kurup’s wife, a Russian national, came to the scene of the crime and took a bag lying inside the vehicle. He said that the FIR has been registered against Kurup under Sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and 337 (hurt to any person by doing any act so rashly and negligently as to endanger human life) of the Indian Penal Code
