HARYANA CHIEF MINISTER, SH. MANOHAR LAL EXTENDED HEARTFELT GREETINGS AND BEST WISHES TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE STATE AND THE NATION ON THE AUSPICIOUS OCCASION OF DIWALI

 

Chandigarh, November 11 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the residents of the state and the nation on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. He expressed his hope that the festival of lights brings joy, prosperity, and abundance to everyone.

 

In a message issued here on the eve of Diwali, the Chief Minister stated that this festival symbolises the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and serves as a reminder to move towards positivity. He urged people to celebrate the festival in an environmentally friendly manner, promoting pollution-free festivities.

 

Offering best wishes for a bright future, the Chief Minister remarked that Diwali is celebrated in commemoration of Lord Ram’s victorious return to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana. The festival evokes the ideals of Lord Ram, and he urged the youth to pledge to eradicate social evils while following the principles set by Lord Ram.

 

The Chief Minister highlighted the special significance of Diwali this year as the grand temple of Lord Ram is under construction in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the ‘Ram Mandir’ on January 22, 2024, which will be a moment of pride for every Indian.

 

Sh. Manohar Lal also extended greetings for Govardhan Puja, Vishwakarma Puja, and Bhai Dooj. He conveyed his wishes for the prosperity of all artisans, labourers, and craftsmen on Vishwakarma Puja, acknowledging Lord Vishwakarma as the deity of mechanical science and architecture.
