Mumbai: Five Houses Collapse After Gas Cylinder Explosion, 11 Rescued
As many as five houses collapsed after a gas cylinder exploded in the Chembur area of Mumbai on Wednesday morning.
Four people, who sustained burn injuries had been sent to civic-run Shatabdi Hospital in Govandi, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials said.
“11 people have been rescued safely, so far,” BMC officials said.
The fire incident occurred at 7.50 am at Old Barrack near the Golf Club in the Chembur area.
