Sikkim: Indian Army rescues over 800 tourists stranded in high altitude areas
Over 800 tourists, stranded in the high-altitude areas of East Sikkim due to snowfall, were rescued by army officials on Wednesday.
The troops of Trishakti Corps, a division of the Indian Army, had initiated the rescue operation which continued till late evening.
