Car rams into US President Joe Biden’s motorcade
A car crashed into a Secret Service vehicle attached to Joe Biden’s motorcade on Sunday, with the security scare startling the US president as he left his campaign headquarters in Delaware. Biden and First Lady Jill Biden had just left his campaign headquarters when the collision occurred. Jill Biden was also safe following the incident, the witness said. A loud noise was heard on Sunday (Dec 17) at 8 pm (local time) when the sedan ploughed into a sedan and hit a US Secret Service vehicle that was stationed to close off a nearby intersection about 40 metres (130 feet) from Biden.
At that time, Biden was walking from the campaign office to his waiting armoured SUV.
