NSS Wing Desh Bhagat University participation in National Youth Day
Mandi Gobindgarh. 13th Jan 2024: NSS Wing of DeshBhagatUniversity in collaboration with Red Ribbon Club organized and participated in National Youth Day. The chief guest of the activity was our Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and President Dr.Sandeep Singh along with the other dignitaries. The volunteers from various schools of university attended the Live Telecast of National Youth Festival Inauguration. All the participants attended the Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s Speech on 12th January, 2024 in 27th National Youth Festival Inauguration. This year, PM Modi inaugurated the National Youth Festival in Nashik, Maharashtra and addressed the youth of the nation.
On this occasion,Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh asked the youth & students to work to take nation to new heights. Dr. Zora Singh said, “I know the students of our nation can achieve this goal. This world is looking towards India as a new skilled force.”
This activity was conducted at Mahapragya Hall, University campus.All of the participants were made aware about the historical aspect and significance of National Youth Day& fewer of the students performed also over there. Along with this there was pledge taken by all of the participants to make the India HIV free country that’s the one of activity initiated by Red Ribbon club. 0n that day special registration drive was also organized to onboard all NSS volunteers & NSS Programmed Officers and all other general students under NSS category on My Bharat portal & more than 300 students got enrolled themselves over the My Bharat portal.All the volunteers were enlightened and encouraged to be part of this “viksityuvaviksitbharat”
