Delhi: Five killed, 2 hurt as fire guts Pitampura building
Five people were killed and two more were critically injured after a blaze swept through a residential building at Pitampura in northwest Delhi on Thursday evening, fire department officials and police officers aware of the case said.
According to officials, a call about the fire was received around 8.07-8.10 pm. Local residents in the ZP block of Pitampura alleged that a massive fire broke out at an apartment in the area. DFS said it took them 10-15 minutes to reach the spot.
