Desh Bhagat Global School organized an Inter-school Punjabi Debate Contest

Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh organized another successful edition of the Inter-school Punjabi Debate Contest under the aegis of Hub of Learning (HOL). With the invocation of the Almighty, the program began on an auspicious note. A total of seven schools participated in this Punjabi debate contest including Garden Valley International School Chunni Kalan, Diya International School Mandi Gobindgarh, Akal Academy School Khamano, St. Farid School Mandi Gobindgarh, Om Prakash Bansal Modern School Mandi Gobindgarh, Garden Valley International School Bassi Pathana and Desh Bhagat Global School Mandi Gobindgarh.

The contestants stormed the stage with their arguments both for and against the motion – ‘Videshan vich Jana Lalach ya majboori’ and “Behtar ki hai Manukhi Dimaag ya Computer” presenting their viewpoints with utmost persuasion and self-assurance. The objective was to provide a platform for the children to exhibit their learning and knowledge of the world they dwell in and to contribute to a deeper understanding of the topic. The winners were awarded Certificates and trophies by Mr. Rajneesh Madan, Principal of Desh Bhagat Global School, Mandi Gobindgarh. The chairman of the school, Dr. Zora Singh, and the general secretary Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated all the participants for their performances.
