In a distressing incident, a lawyer facing a case under Section 498A IPC attempted to jump off from the Patna High Court building after his quashing application was rejected by the Court.
The lawyer’s wife had earlier lodged a 498A case against him. In a bid to seek relief, the lawyer had filed a quashing application, which was turned down by the court. The bench also imposed a penalty on the lawyer. After the dismissal of the case, the lawyer tried to jump off from the court building.
