Maharashtra BJP MLA shoots at Shinde Sena leader at police station, arrested
BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad was arrested by police on Saturday for allegedly opening fire at Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) leader Mahesh Gaikwad at the Hill Line Police Station in Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra.
Gaikwad and a supporter reportedly sustained injuries from five bullets. The incident occurred during a conversation between BJP MLA Ganpat Gaikwad and city chief Mahesh Gaikwad in the presence of senior inspector Anil Jagtap at the police station.
