Patiala:The sweep team made the students aware of the voter helpline number 1950

According to the directions of the District Election Officer, for the strengthening of democracy, the District Sweep Team, Patiala, at Government Mahindra College, Patiala, Principal Prof. Under the leadership of Amarjit Singh, a special program was organized to make the students aware.

In this program, college students wrote posters and slogans regarding voter awareness. During the event, District Sweep Nodal Officer Mr. Savinder Rekhi, in which the students who completed 18 years of age were encouraged about advance registration of vote and online, offline voter register process and appealed to the students for 100 percent participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He said that for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, voter helpline number 1950 has been activated at Patiala, which can be contacted from 7 am to 11 pm and the voter can make his vote, change his vote, including any vote related matters.
