Patiala: Farmers Protest 2024 update about injured persons
*Kisan Protest update*
During the ongoing farmer protest at Shambhu and Dhabi Gujran, 9 protesters and 14 protesters respectively suffered injuries. All 9 injured at Shambhu border had minor injuries and are stable, being treated at SDH Rajpura. Out of 14 persons injured at Dhabi Gujran, 4 were referred to Rajindra Hospital and all 4 are stable. One person namely Shubhkaran Singh, Aged 21 years from Balloh Bathinda suffered a fatal head injury at Dhabi Gujran and was taken directly to Rajindra Hospital where he was declared as dead on arrival. The cause of the injury is yet to be ascertained.
