Doctor attacked with sickle by former colleague’s husband in Nashik
A doctor was attacked over a monetary dispute in #Nashik in #Maharashtra and is admitted in a local hospital in a critical condition. One person has been arrested for attacking the doctor.
Dr Kailas Rathi (48), director of a hospital in Nashik’s #Panchvati area was attacked on Friday night with a sickle.
The incident has raised concerns over attacks on doctors or medical staff and security. In last few years, there have been several incidences in the state where on-duty doctors were attacked by relatives.
