Recovery Is Going To Take Some Time…’: Mohammed Shami Undergoes Successful Surgery In UK

India and Gujarat Titans fast bowler Mohammed Shami underwent a successful heel operation which will keep him out of the upcoming 2024 season of the Indian Premier League. Shami has been out of action since his dream ODI World Cup 2023 campaign , where the West Bengal speedster picked up a record 24 wickets in seven games at an average of 10.70.

Hence, Shami wasn’t available for India’s bilateral series against Australia, South Africa and England. It was later revealed that the Titans’ pacer was dealing with a foot injury and hence he travelled to the UK for surgery. Since then, Shami shared a major update on his social media, confirming a successful surgery and revealing that his recovery will require more time.
