Gunmen Open Fire On Punjabi Music Composer Bunty Bains At Mohali Restaurant
Punjabi music composer and lyricist Bunty Bains narrowly escaped an assassination attempt in Mohali, Punjab on Tuesday. The attack happened when Bains was at a restaurant in the city’s sector 79.
Unknown assailants opened fire on Bains, who escaped without any injuries. He has filed a police complaint.
Speaking to Aaj Tak/India Today, Bains recounted the harrowing experience. He revealed that following the attack, he received a threatening phone call demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore.
Breaking: Gunfire occurred at a Katani Premium Dhaba in Sector 79, where Punjabi lyricist Bunty Bains was having dinner with his family and friends.
