DBU’s Management Fest Comienzo 2k24 Fosters Creativity & Managerial Skills Among Students

The Department of Business Management & Commerce at Desh Bhagat University, in collaboration with the Mission Excellence Club, successfully organized a vibrant Management Fest themed “Comienzo 2k24”. The event aimed to ignite creativity, enhance managerial skills, and foster a competitive spirit among the participating students.

The inauguration ceremony of this mega event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Chief Guest Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur, and Advisor to Chancellor Dr. Virinder Singh. The Director, Dr. Rajni Saluja, warmly welcomed the guests and participants with her opening address.

In his address, Dr. Zora Singh emphasized the significance of new beginnings, stating that events like these provide an excellent platform for management students to showcase their talents in both management and cultural domains. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in the holistic development of students. Dr. Tajinder Kaur commended the efforts of the staff and students for the successful organization of the event.

Throughout the fest, a plethora of management-related activities were conducted, including Corporate Walk, Business Games, Business Role Plays, and Cultural Items such as Bhangra and Gidha. Additionally, contemporary activities like Reel Making for Social Media and Short Film Making were also part of the agenda, enriching the skill set of participating students.

The event concluded with a Prize Distribution ceremony facilitated by Dr. Zora Singh and President DBU Dr. Sandeep Singh. Dr. Kirti Sharma extended gratitude to all involved parties in her Vote of Thanks. The coordination and seamless execution of the event were attributed to the efforts of Manmeet Saggu, Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Dr. Manoj, Balwinder Kaur, and Jaspreet Kaur.
