Mukhtar Ansari last rites in tight security, huge crowd gathered at the funeral
The final rites of Mukhtar Ansari, who transitioned from mafia to politics, were held on Saturday. His mortal remains of Mukhtar Ansari buried near the graves of his parents at Kalibag graveyard. His body arrived at his Ghazipur residence on Friday evening amidst heavy police presence.
Mukhtar Ansari, aged 63, experienced a cardiac arrest and passed away while undergoing treatment at Banda medical college.
On Tuesday morning, Mukhtar Ansari was discovered unconscious and subsequently referred to the district hospital after complaining of abdominal pain and constipation. He received medical attention and was discharged 15 hours later.
