Kochi:Gold Paste Form in Undergarments Seized At Airport
Customs officials at Cochin International Airport Ltd (Cial) seized gold paste from a passenger who arrived from Abu Dhabi on Friday.
On the basis of profiling done by the officials of the Air Intelligence Unit, a Kannur native who arrived via flight 6E1404 was intercepted at the exit gate. During the examination of the said passenger, a vest and an underwear weighing 1,316g containing gold paste sandwiched between two layers of the vest and underwear were recovered and seized
