Earthquake in Taiwan: 4 people die, 26 buildings collapsed
East Taiwan was struck by a 7.4 magnitude earthquake in the early morning hours of Wednesday (local time). The earthquake prompted tsunami warnings across Taiwan, southern Japan and the Philippines.
Large landslides have been reported in Taiwan following the earthquake along with widespread internet outages. The temblor has left 87,000 homes without electricity.
