Ex-PM Manmohan Singh retires from Rajya Sabha after 33 years
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday wrote to former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, praising his contribution to the country, as he retires from Rajya Sabha. In an X post, Kharge said “An era comes to an end” with Singh’s retirement. The Congress president also said the former Prime Minister would remain a “hero” to the middle class and the aspirational youth.
