This information was given in a press conference held at DBU Campus here today.

Invest SVG warmly welcomed Desh Bhagat University and its esteemed delegation to the Island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, expressing delight in the forthcoming assumption of operations at Saint Teresa University. This takeover signifies a new chapter in the educational landscape of the region, promising enhanced opportunities for students and academic advancement.

The Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at Saint Teresa University, now under the auspices of Desh Bhagat University, will continue to provide exceptional educational experiences, combining academic expertise with state-of-the-art facilities. Students can expect innovative teaching methods, a comprehensive curriculum, and a supportive learning environment conducive to their intellectual and professional growth.

Speaking on the takeover Dr Zora Singh Chancellor of Desh Bhagat University, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and unwavering support extended by Invest SVG. “We are thrilled to embark on this takeover of Saint Teresa University, now Saint Teresa University is a venture of Desh Bhagat University & committed to fostering academic excellence and nurturing future leaders in the field of medicine.”

Speaking on this Venture Mr Sanathana Raj Kumar “Being the founder of STU I express my gratitude to DBU for this takeover and they’ll be developing a state-of-the-art facility and feasible learning environment for Indian and International students. We shall work together to make DBUA one of the Universities in the Ivy League.
