UP minister Sanjay Nishad ‘assaulted’ at wedding, 4 SP workers arrested
Uttar Pradesh Fisheries Minister Sanjay Nishad was allegedly assaulted by a group of men at a wedding function in Sant Kabir Nagar district’s Mohammadpur Kathar village on Sunday evening, police said.
Four persons, purportedly affiliated with the Samajwadi Party, have been arrested over the alleged attack on Nishad, who is the chief of the Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aam Dal, or NISHAD Party, a constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He sustained injuries on his nose, it was claimed.
