Man Attacks Neighbour With Axe At Religious Procession in Rajasthan’s Bundi
Holding a grudge for the death of his wife in a road mishap a year ago, a man in Bundi district attacked his 40-year-old friend with an axe while he was sitting on stage at a cultural event organized on Hanuman Jayanti late Tuesday night.
The victim, identified as Banwari Meena (40), was left unconscious with a deep cut in his skull. He is admitted at a private hospital in Kota and his condition is stated to be critical.
The accused, identified as Tejmal Gurjar (45), is yet to be nabbed. Police said they had lodged a case against him under IPC sections 323, 307 and SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
