Noida elderly man killed after being hit by speeding Audi in Sector 24

NOIDA: A 53-year-old man out for morning walk was crushed to death by an Audi near Gijhore village in Sector 53 on Sunday morning.

Police said Janak Dev Shah, who lived in Sector 53, was a former Group D employee with All India Radio.

ACP Arvind Kumar said Shah was on his way back home when the accident occurred near a primary school around 6.30am.

A speeding Audi was seen on CCTV hitting an elderly man in #UttarPradesh's #Noida, killing him on the spot.

The incident comes days after outrage over the deaths of two techies in #Pune after a speeding Porsche driven by a drunk teen rammed them.
