Amid Heatwave, Gurugram Police Resort to ‘Heavyweight’ Cooling Jackets
Gurugram: As north India continues to reel under intense heatwave, the Gurugram Police resorted to cooling jackets on Saturday, June 15. Traffic Police personnel manning traffic at the busy intersections of the city have been provided with cooling jackets to combat the scorching heat.
The jackets have been designed to include fans and cooling pads which helps the personnel to maintain their body temperatures lower than the surrounding.”Cooling jackets have been given as samples in view of the ongoing heat,” said ACP Traffic Sukhbir Singh.
