NEW DELHI:

Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday spotlighted a series of devastating paper leaks affecting NEET and other competitive exams in the Rajya Sabha. Highlighting the issue, the AAP Rajya Sabha MP declared that while the nation enjoys the Indian Premier League (IPL), another more sinister IPL—’Indian Paper Leak’—is jeopardizing the futures of millions of young aspirants. With 35 lakh NEET-UGC NET candidates’ prospects hanging in the balance, Raghav Chadha condemned the central government’s failure over the past decade to secure the education system, citing major leaks including the Vyapam scam, NEET, UGC NET, and UP Police Recruitment.

Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha said in the Rajya Sabha that there are two education systems in this country. On one hand, there is the education system of CM Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, under which he built world-class schools in Delhi. Children are being provided with a good curriculum and quality education. CM Arvind Kejriwal moved forward with the dream of making an educated nation. On the other hand, there is another education system under which the examination mafia has been born, under which the future of lakhs of children in the country is standing on the verge of darkness.

The AAP Rajya Sabha MP continued, “Today, due to the paper leaks of NEET and UGC NET exams, the future of 35 lakh children of the country has been jeopardized. Those 35 lakh children are looking towards the Parliament of the country today with the hope that perhaps their rights will be deliberated. Approximately, 65% of India’s population is below 35 years of age. We are the youngest country in the world. The developed nations are getting ‘older’ (average age) while we’re getting younger. The average age of India is only 29 years. Here the number of children taking primary, secondary and higher education is about 31 crore students. But what has our government done for these youth?”

The Senior AAP Leader mentioned that there are two types of IPLs going on in our country. First, there is a game of ball and bat which is called the Indian Premier League. The second is the ‘Indian Paper Leak’ in which the future of lakhs of youth of the country is played with. Under this, instead of securing the future of the students, work was done to ruin them.

The AAP MP further read out the names of exams which were leaked starting with Vyapam scam, UGC NET, Telangana Secondary School Certificate Hindi Exam, Assam HSC LC General Science, Uttar Pradesh Lekhpal Recruitment, Rajasthan Forest Guard, Bihar PCS, Gujarat Head Clerk Exam, SSC CGL, UP TET, Rajasthan University, UPPSC, Maharashtra HSC Chemistry, UP Police qualifying Exam, Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET), Haryana Police Constable Exam, Himachal Pradesh Police Constable Exam, Railway Recruitment Group D Exam, Odisha Teachers’ Eligibility, Assam Police Recruitment, Bihar Board 10th Class Exam, Delhi University Law Entrance Exam, Jamia Millia Law Entrance Exam, UP Board Exam Mathematics and Biology, and this year’s NEET paper, many papers have been leaked. “We could not provide a good education system to the youth of our country. We couldn’t provide employment to the youth of the country, unemployment is at its peak. The unemployment in the organized sector is at its peak while in the unorganized sector, it is much worse,” MP Raghav Chadha concluded.
