Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh inaugurated expansion projects of Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar district on Thursday at a cost of Rs. 339 crore.
The projects include the inauguration of the Maharaja Agrasen Airport Office and Conference Hall, Perimeter Road within the airport premises, an emergency road and street lighting, a fuel room, the Air Traffic Controller building, a 33 KV substation, as well as the extension of the existing runway, taxiway, and terminal building.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 27 road projects. He inaugurated the two-lane railway over bridge being constructed at a cost of Rs. 25 crore on the Mandi Adampur to Dadouli road. Similarly, he laid the foundation stone for the strengthening of the Agroha to Adampur road at a cost of Rs. 14.39 crore, repair work on the Adampur to Jhansal road at a cost of Rs. 7.63 crore, and renovation work on the Hisar to Ghudsaal road at a cost of Rs. 25.84 crore. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for the widening and renovation of 19 roads in the Adampur assembly
constituency at a cost of Rs. 24.76 crore, the widening and renovation of 16 roads in the Nalwa assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 18.14 crore, and the renovation of 12 roads in the Barwala assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 25.98 crore.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed water works in Mirzapur at a cost of Rs. 5.06 crore, the renovation of the Dhana Khurd to Badsi road at a cost of Rs. 3.07 crore, the renovation of the Ramayan to Dhanderi road at a cost of Rs. 4.26 crore, and the renovation of the Bawani Khera Gadhi to Mehnda road at a cost of about Rs. 5.30 crore.
Sh Nayab Singh laid the foundation stone for the renovation of 19 roads in the Hansi assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 27.76 crore, the renovation of 24 roads in the Narnaund assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 24.35 crore, and the renovation of 7 roads in the Uklana assembly constituency at a cost of Rs. 25.35 crore. He also laid the foundation stone for the construction of a second independent water works in the village of Thurana, along with the renovation of existing structurs and the management of raw water.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone for several 33 KV substations of the Power Distribution Corporation: one in Uklana at a cost of Rs. 7.75 crore, one in Khedar at a cost of Rs. 5.53 crore, one in Rajli at a cost of Rs. 9.24 crore, one in Kalirawan at a cost of Rs. 8.30 crore, and one in Mirzapur at a cost of Rs. 8.10 crore.
