Mandi Gobindgarh, 17 August 2024: Desh Bhagat Global School celebrated India’s 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor. The School Principal Ms. Indu Sharma delivered an inspiring speech reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we hold as citizens of a free nation.The school choir performed a series of patriotic songs, which resonated with the spirit of the day. Students from various classes presented an impressive cultural program that included dance, speech and recitations. Children donned as freedom fighters and articulated patriotic slogans. Pre-Primary wing took part in thematic assembly on theme National Symbols and enjoyed tri colour food activity.They dressed up like freedom fighters which centered around the theme of freedom and national pride.The budding dancers of Desh Bhagat Global School presented a mesmerizing Gidha folk dance at sub division level Independence Day celebration at Amloh and were highly applauded for their energetic performance. On the best performances of Desh Bhagat Global School students, SDM Amloh Mr Karandeep Singh honored the gidha team along with school principal Ms Indu Sharma and teachers.

The School Chairman Dr. Zora Singh and general secretary Dr.Tajinder Kaur congratulated the students and staff on the occasion of Independence Day and urged everyone to strive to make our nation a better place for future generations.
