Maharashtra: Mother Saves Son’s Life, Attacked With Sword in Kolhapur
Kolhapur: A 60-year-old woman from Kolhapur’s Dharangutti town chased away three men, one of whom had attempted to attack her 28-year-old son with a sword in Jaysingpur.
The incident was captured on CCTV camera. The footage shows three men arriving on a moped and stopping at Nandni Chowk in Jaysingpur town in Kolhapur district. The mother, Kasturbi Ramappa Lamani, was standing and chatting with her son, Sunil, who was sitting on a bike. Suddenly, one of the men tried to attack Sunil. An alert Lamani chased them away. She and Sunil also pelted stones at the attackers
